What are Sock Kittens?

When NEAFP Alpaca Socks have holes, knitting defects or other quirks that make them unable to be worn, Sock kittens are born! Each kitten is handmade and one-of-a-kind, made with misfit socks and stuffed with waste yarn and fabric cuttings from around the NEAFP Mill.

Sock kittens are only available in assorted colors/styles. Due to the upcycled nature of the product, Sock Kittens are made in small batches and may vary slightly in look, size, and have a unique array of facial features. 

Sock Kitten and other Cradle to Grave projects aim to help us reduce waste from our mill and give new life to products that may otherwise have gone to a landfill.

Every Sock Kitten comes with an adoption certificate to give to the lucky owner of each furry friend.

Content:

Shell: Upcycled Alpaca Socks (78% U.S. Alpaca, 20% Nylon, and 2% Lycra)

Stuffing: Alpaca Fabric/Yarn Scraps, Micro-Fleece, Nylon Scraps

Care Instructions: Spot clean by hand lightly, using cool water and mild natural fiber detergent as needed. Air Dry.
